Away Debuts a New Chic Travel Pet Carrier

Away, the high-flying travel brand known for its sleek hard-case luggage and cult-like Instagram following is on a mission to make travel more seamless.

They’ve just announced the new travel-ready and super chic dog carrierThat’s absolutely amazing news for all of us who bring along our dogs wherever we go. (Airports and flying are stressful enough without squeezing your pup into an uncomfortable bag.)

Size: The carrier currently comes in one size designed for dogs (and cats) weighing up to 18 pounds and is fits all the requirements set by most U.S. airlines, including Delta, United and American Airlines.

Safety: The carrier has been awarded a 5-Star Crash Test Rating by the Center for Pet Safety, the maximum score a carrier can earn.

Design: It opens both on the side and at the top for whichever method you find easier. There’s also a safety collar clip to prevent any sudden escapes upon opening the bag. The nylon exterior is water resistant with delicate leather trim and comes in two colors, classic black and coast, a blue/gray hue (pictured above). The interior features easily removable machine-washable sherpa bedding and there are mesh panels on three sides for max air flow and ventilation. There are a multitude of pockets to stow your wallet, keys and cellphone as well as treats, poop bags and any maybe a toy or two for your furry baby.

Now, bringing your dog along for the ride has never been easier – or more adorable.

Release Date: August 25, 2020

Buy: The Travel Pet Carrier is available at awaytravel.com. Ships only in the US.

P.S. To celebrate the new launch, Away partnered with Max-Bone to create a pet travel kit—complete with collapsable water bowl, embroidered bandana and a felt airplane toy—which will be included with each pet carrier purchase while supplies last.
